Jerome "Jerry" H. Lewis Obituary (1934 - 2013)

Jerome “Jerry” H. Lewis, age 79 of Minneapolis, passed away December 27,2013. He is preceded in death by his wife Browna “Bunny” Lewis, mother Bessie Lewis, father John L. (Eleanor) Lewis and in-laws William & Sally Swadden. Survived by daughter Elizabeth Lewis; son Scott (Daria) Lewis; grandchildren Briana, William, Arissa and Austin; sister Georgia (Gerald) Fishman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; and pet dog Tic Tick. Jerry was a family man first and foremost. He was the last of the “Street Car Lawyers”. He was a practicing attorney for over 57 years and was a partner with his son Scott. He was a real estate entrepreneur with his daughter Elizabeth. Many thanks to the loving and caring staffs at Sholom Home West, Abbott Northwestern Hospital and the Mayo Clinic. Funeral service MONDAY 1:30 at HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 126 East Franklin Ave., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
