Jefferson Kent Petty II Obituary (1952 - 2016)

Jefferson Kent Petty II, age 64, of Minnetonka, passed away unexpectedly August 12, 2016. He was born April 8, 1952 in Cambridge, OH. Preceded in death by parents, Jefferson Kent Petty and Rhoda M. Katzback. Survived by wife, Heidi; daughters, Shana (John) Klesk and Kate (Mike) Docken; granddaughters, Michaela, Lauren and Minna; brothers, Michael (Michelle James) Petty and Peter Petty; sister, Jane Petty; and many other beloved family and friends. Jeff was everybody’s frat brother. He was quick with a joke or a funny accent, and always willing to lend a hand or host a party. A capable handyman; self-proclaimed engineer; great cook; and an even better husband, father, and grandfather. He lived life in such a carefree manner that it will always serve as a reminder on how to do it right. He’ll be dearly missed and forever remembered.
