Jechezkiel "Chezi" Bakal Obituary (1951 - 2023)

Jechezkiel "Chezi" Bakal, age 72, died Sunday, August 13, 2023. Preceded in death by his parents, Moshe and Marcel Bakal, and his brothers, Oved and Eli. Survived by son, Spencer (Zoe) Pepper; granddaughter, Saxby Pepper; beloved former wife, Sue Pepper; siblings, Tikvah, Amalia, Ezra, Tzivia, Penina, Carmella, Tzion, Yuval, and Dalia; and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Born as a twin in 1951 in Iraq, he moved to Israel at 40 days old. He was the star of the family and was loved by everybody, wherever he went. Graveside service 12:00 pm THURSDAY August 17th at MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY, 7032 Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Shiva 7:00 pm Thursday at the Chazin home, 11685 Cedar Pass, Hopkins.
