Jamie Lee Sherman

Jamie Lee Sherman age 60, of Springfield, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. She was born on May 8, 1955, the daughter of the late Harold and Judith (Kaufer) Sampson. She married Norman Sherman on May 31, 1981 in Milwaukee, WI, and he survives. Mrs. Sherman was a homemaker, a member of Temple B’rith Sholom and its sisterhood, in Springfield, and a member of Hadassah. Besides her husband Norman, she is survived by her 2 sons, Ross Sherman of Seattle, WA and Tedd Sherman of Tempe, AZ; 2 sisters, Beth Sampson and Kay (husband Richard) Yuspeh, both of Milwaukee, WI; 2 nieces; 2 nephews; and her beloved Mickey the cat. Graveside service SUNDAY, 1 PM at GEMELUS CHESED CEMETERY, 70 ½ & Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Memorials may be made to Temple B’rith Sholom, 1004 S. 4th St., Springfield, IL 62703.
