James Marshall Grais Obituary (1949 - 2021)

James Marshall Grais, age 72, of St. Louis Park. Jimmy was loved by so many. He was preceded in death by his parents Etheldoris and Arnold Grais and is survived by Carol Beth, Jason (Jacy), Tammi (Elliot), Mariella, Paige, Sasha, Micah, Eli, Leone and Jerry Altman, and many wonderful cousins who he loved like siblings. A warm and effusive man to his core, Jimmy loved meeting new people and could strike up a conversation with anyone and befriended people of all ages and personalities. Even in his final days, despite his pain, he made new friends with nursing staff, who he charmed. He loved to make others laugh and to cackle alongside them. Jimmy was an avid Minnesota sports fan and automotive and electronics enthusiast but family was more important to him than anything, and Jimmy loved his mightily. He will be deeply missed. Funeral Tuesday, 11:00 AM, Adath Jeshurun Congregation, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka and will be live streamed at adathjeshurun.org. Shiva Tues-Thurs at 7pm at the Adath Jeshurun Congregation will be available on zoom. In person attendees for the funeral and shiva must register.
