Israel David Peltsman Obituary (1918 - 2012)

Passed away on April 7, 2012. He was born in Kiev, Ukraine on May 17, 1918. He lived in Leningrad and had an exciting career as a mechanical engineer, securing many patents. He went as a volunteer to fight the Nazi occupation in 1941 and was in the Russian army until the end of the war. He emigrated with his family to the USA, Minneapolis in 1977. A talented engineer and inventor Israel started Peltsman Corporation in 1979 - that to this date provides design and manufacturing of Ceramic Molding Machines. He was devoted and loving husband, proud father and grandfather. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Galeena; son Michael; daughter, Elena; and grandchildren, Jacob and Maxine. Memorial service TUESDAY April 10th, 2012 at 5PM at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. S., Mpls.
