Isaac "Gene" Levine Obituary (1919 - 2022)

Isaac “Gene” Levine age 103 passed away November 15, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents Sam and Nettie Levine, his brother Marty, nephews Victor, Richard and Eddie, and his beloved wife Evelyn. He is survived by sons Barry (Z”l Karen) Levine and David (Joanne Ring) Levine; grandchildren Benjamin Levine, Joseph Levine, Aaron Biel, Ariel (Tyron Waters), Jacob Biel; great granddaughter Yael Waters; and many nephews and nieces. Gene grew up learning and working with his father as a clothing designer and pattern maker; and spent his working life in the garment industry where he received a Research and Achievement Award for being instrumental in computerizing the garment manufacturing industry. He loved to work with his hands building things and fishing, but most of all he loved his family. He moved to St. Paul to live at Bentson Assisted Living in the Spring of 2013, where all who knew him loved his gentle manner, humor, and great deep singing voice. He will be missed. Funeral service will take place in Delray Beach, Florida on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022 at 2:15pm Eastern/ 1:15pm Central Time. Service available on zoom, link below.
