Howard "Buddy" Harris Obituary (1931 - 2022)

Howard “Buddy” Harris, age 90, born June 19, 1931, died January 16, 2022. He grew up in Willmar, MN and was the son of Jack and Bessie Harris. Howard Attended Moorhead State where he played football and then served as a navigator during the Korean War. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis; daughters, Tracy (Nakia) and Marla (Mark Bass); the greatest loves of his life, his grandchildren, Jack Bass and Carly Bass; three brothers, Sidney (Arlene), Morton (Frima) and Allen (Sandy) whom he met weekly for dinner; and many relatives, family and friends. Buddy spent a long career in the steel business, in sales and owner, and then came out of retirement to work in the field of wastewater treatment. He finally retired in his mid 80's. Graveside service 12:00 PM on TUESDAY, January 18th at BETH EL MEMORIAL PARK, 3726 Winnetka Ave N., Crystal. Zoom Shiva 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday. Graveside service also available on zoom.
