Henry "Chinny" Kaplan Obituary (2007)

Henry “Chinny” Kaplan, age 88. Passed away December 28, 2007. Preceded in death by sister Libbie Koval. Survived by his wife, Diane, the light of his life; children, Robert (Julie), Kari Kashmark (Terry), Joseph (Michelle), Michael, Joni Davis (Richard), Cheryl Peterson (Brad), Brian Bednarczyk and David (Karen) Bednarczyk, many loving grandchildren; sister Harriet Kaplan; nephew Jeffrey (Devie) Koval. Born January 26, 1919, Henry grew up in North Minneapolis and was a World War II veteran. He was truly a “character” who lived a very full and “colorful” life. His family and many, many friends will forever miss him. Funeral services Monday 10:00AM, BETH EL SYNAGOGUE 5224 W 26th Street, St. Louis Pk.
