Harvey Shafer

Harvey Shafer, age 74, of Maple Grove, passed away March 20, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, Gordon Shafer & Leah Milstein Shafer (Chesin). Survived by children, Ari Shafer, Amy Farley (Shawn), Alissa Shafer; grandchildren, Lauren, Leanna, Blayne, Grace and Patrick; sisters, Elaine Rosen (Rick), Joanne Shafer (Dieterich Spahn); special friend, Jill Ballard. Harvey served as a pilot in the Vietnam War, was a very talented artist and photographer, motorcycle enthusiast, loving father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed. Private funeral services. A memorial service will be scheduled later. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer’s Association or donor’s favorite charity.
