Gordon "Gordy" Singer Obituary (1925 - 2019)

Gordon “Gordy” Singer, age 94 of Golden Valley, died May 29th. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva & Sam Singer and sister, Florence Karatz. Survived by his wife of 72 years, Minnie; children, Bob (Jackie), Gary (Ellie) and Steve (Hidee); grandchildren, Eric (Michelle), Kyle (Christen), Samantha (Brian) and Jimmy (Jenn); great-grandchildren, Harlow, Louie, Rebecca, Calvin, Owen and Gavin. Gordy was born in Biwabik, MN and grew up in Duluth, he was a paratrooper in the Army during WWII. In 1969 he and Minnie moved to Minneapolis. Funeral service 12 noon FRIDAY May 31st at BET SHALOM CONGREGATION, 13613 Orchard Rd., Minnetonka. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bet Shalom Congregation or Heartland Hospice.
