Geri Lynn Spizman Barber Obituary (1959 - 2023)

Geri Lynn Spizman Barber, age 63, of St, Paul, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 8th after she courageously battled cancer for the past 13 years. She is survived by her parents, Connie Davis of St. Paul and Howard Spizman (Rose) of Hugo, MN, her brother Scott Spizman (Raimee) of Plantation, FL, sister Dana Pica (Tony) of Laguna Niguel, CA, step-sister Sandy Fromm (Tim) of Roseville, MN, niece Nikki Pica of Reno, NV, nephew Trevor Pica of Louisville, KY, nephews Samuel & Jonah Fromm of Roseville, MN, niece Amelia Holcomb, WI, aunt Cathy Reith (Bill) of Denver, CO and Barry Kivo of Minneapolis and many cousins and many, many very close friends. She is preceded in death by husband Willie Barber, grandparents Morris and Ionne Spizman and Larry and Florence Kivo, aunts and uncles, Tom Kivo, Bobby Kivo, Sheldon Spizman, Bob Spizman, and Terry Kivo. Geri was the owner of St Pops, a wholesome and organic popsicle company and of 9YumYum an ice cream truck that was frequently seen throughout Minneapolis/St.Paul in the summers. When Geri wasn’t working, she would love to spend time in her garden or spend time with friends and family, who she loved and cared about so much. Funeral Service is Monday June 12 at 3pm at Hodroff-Epstein Memorial Chapel, 671 Snelling Ave. S, St. Paul, MN 55116. A gathering after the funeral at the Community Room at 2265 Youngman Ave. in St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Susan G Komen or American Cancer Society.
