Gerald Lee Schwartz, age 95, of Eau Claire, formerly of Minneapolis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many, passed away April 3, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Max & Bessie Schwartz; siblings, Charlotte Schwartz, Marion Addis, Alice Nemer, Francis Schwartz. Survived by wife of 66 years, Betty; children, Marna Reed, Robert Schwartz (Brandon Engdahl), Karen Schwartz; grandchildren, Melissa Lesch (John), Jenna Reed Barb (Patrick), David Schwartz, Andrew Schwartz; great-granddaughter, Alice and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service SUNDAY 2 PM, HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 126 E. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Sholom Foundation or donor’s favorite charity.
