Gean Rehm Obituary (2009) - New Brighton, Minnesota

Gean F. Rehm (Friedman) 4/4/1948 – 4/9/2009 passed away peacefully in her sleep in the arms of her wonderful loving daughters and best friend Eric Rehm. Gean courageously and bravely fought brain cancer since May of 2008. Daughter of Herman and Bea Friedman, Gean is survived by three caring, giving daughters, Jennifer (James) Shaninghouse, Emilie (Kevin) Keller, and Lilli (Matt Gallegos) Rehm; grandchildren, Ty, R-jay, Allie, Tanner, Wil, Brandon; brother, Mark Friedman; nephew, Scotty Friedman; nieces, Sophia Rehm, Jessie Sea. Gean celebrated Passover Sedar with her extended family Wednesday night, enjoying the singing of L’Dor Vador. Gean will be deeply missed by her many friends and neighbors but her brave spirit will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Funeral services FRIDAY, 3:00PM at SHIR TIKVAH, 5000 Girard Ave. S., Mpls. Memorial donations should be made to Adult Brain Cancer Research. The family will welcome visitors at 2127 Violet Lane, New Brighton, MN (Saturday thru Wednesday).
