Frances Lee Moses

Frances Moses, Age 95, of St. Louis Park, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, Jacob & Sarah Michlin; siblings, Meyer, Israel, Rebecca, David, and Moses; and beloved husband, Joseph. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Neil Moses-Zirkes, and grandchildren, Anna and Jared Zirkes. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Fran dedicated herself to her family and her community. She had a head for numbers, which she put to use as bookkeeper for the family business, Lee Stamping, and as Treasurer for B’nai Emet Women’s League. Though she lived more than 50 years in Bloomington, her heart never left the family and community of the North Side. She rarely missed her weekly Mah Jong game and cherished her life-long friendships with the “ladies,” as well as the many people who loved “Aunty Fran.” We are grateful for the warm and loving support she received from her in-home caregivers and from Sholom Hospice.
