Everett Howard Karon M.D. Obituary (1930 - 2015)

Everett Howard Karon, M.D., age 85 of St. Paul, passed away February 7, 2015. Loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Bernard and Fannie Karon; siblings, Irvine (Ruth), Alan (Edythe), and Hazel (Sam Donner); and daughter-in-law, Catherine Odette. Survived by wife of 61 years, Norene; son, Barry (Beth), daughters, Sara and Nancy (Walter Novillo); grandchildren, David (Deborah), Benjamin and Jennifer Karon, Michelle and Danielle Perle; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Dylan Karon, as well as other family and many close friends. Ev was an officer in the Air Force. A brilliant man, he completed both college and medical school within 6 years. Along with being a terrific doctor, Everett will be remembered for his incredible memory of sports and menus, his engaging conversations, his passion for bridge, and his irreverent humor. Funeral services WEDNESDAY 2 PM at TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 So. Mississippi River Blvd, St. Paul. Memorials preferred to American Heart Association, American Lung Association, or donor's favorite charity. SHIVA 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at 1830 Eagle Ridge Drive, Mendota Heights (Community Room).
