Evelyn Flom

Evelyn Flom, age 83 of Minnetonka, died October 20, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Bella Lehrman, brothers, Ray (Dorothy) and Morris (Sarah), sister-in-law, Helen Lehrman and granddaughter Rachel Chazin. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Harvey; children, Michael (Paula), Gary (fiancée Naomi Pominville), Mindy (Bob Gottlieb) and Bonnie Chazin (Jim Braseth); grandchildren, Ali, Emily, Elliot (Melody) Flom, Lauren Massey, Carly Flom and Sam (Theresa) Chazin; great-grandchildren, Lacey, Cameron, Caleb, Hayleigh, Kendall and Tyler; brother Arnold “Butzie” Lehrman and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was an energetic and passionate lover of life and everything it has to offer, especially spending time with her family and friends. Giving back to the community was important to Evelyn, and she devoted herself to taking leadership positions in a number of community organizations. She always had a great sense of humor, and constantly amused her children and grandchildren with a pithy saying or a song to fit any situation. She will be greatly missed. Funeral service 11:00 am WEDNESDAY, October 23rd at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2323 Fremont Ave. So., Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the organization of the donor's choice. SHIVA 7:00 pm Wednesday and Thursday at Temple Israel.
