Ethyl "Ethie" Rutzick, age 79 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 29th surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her parents Michael & Rebecca Simon and brothers Melvin, Nathan, Harry and Richard. Survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Yale; children Gale & Soren Shamblott, Skip, Randy & Sheryl, and Scott Rutzick & Rochelle Rubin; grandchildren Lori & Adam Levin, Jay Shamblott, Lauren and Hannah, and Shelby; great grandson Spencer Levin; sisters Eileen Brooks, Marion Levine, and Mitzi Diamond; brother Leon and Maxine Simon; sisters-in-law Bev, Phyllis and Elaine Simon, and Doris Berde; brother-in-law Sherman & Margine Rutzick; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Funeral services FRIDAY (Oct. 3) 2 PM, TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 So. Mississippi River Blvd, St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Amer Heart Assoc or Amer Diabetes Assoc. SHIVA Sat. and Sun. 7 PM at the Temple of Aaron.
