God took her home 6 days before her 92nd birthday. Daughter of Harry Lerman and Clara Siegal, Ethel is preceded in death by her sweetheart and husband of 67 years, Mort. She is survived by daughter, Frieda (Pat); sons, Max (Marcia), Ron (Ellie); 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Essie Samuels; dear friend, Donna, and other family and friends. Despite physical suffering, Ethel’s sharp mind and resilient spirit shone through. She was an extraordinary little woman with a big heart and will be deeply missed. Funeral service THURSDAY, 11:00AM, HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 126 E. Franklin Ave., Mpls. Family will receive family and friends prior to the service at 10:15AM. Interment at Fort Snelling. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Minnesota Public Radio or the Minneapolis Public Library. Special thanks to the caring staff of Walker Methodist and Methodist Hospital.
