Ethel Edelstein Divine Crystal Obituary (2007)

ETHEL EDELSTEIN DIVINE CRYSTAL, age 96, of St. Louis Park, passed away peacefully Dec.29, 2007. Ethel was born in Hibbing, MN in 1911, and was preceded in death by her loving parents, Benjamin H. and Lyba Edelstein, her nine siblings, and husbands Hymen "Chappy" Divine and Isadore Crystal. She is survived by daughter Lyba (Michael) Vinitsky; son Barry (Cheryl) Divine; grandchildren, Jay Vinitsky, Eve (Josh), Michael (Holly), and Chad Divine; great grandchild, Noah Divine; stepchildren, Lester (Toby) Crystal, Elaine (Larry) Hallfin, and Dinah (Danny) Kossoff; fourteen step-grandchildren and twelve step-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Special thanks to Hospice of the Twin Cities, Sholom Home Health Care and her beloved caregiver Simone. The world has lost an elegant lady, but she left her mark wherever she went.
