Edmar "Tatty" Fink Obituary (1925 - 2016)

Edmar “Tatty” Fink, age 90 of St. Paul passed away April 3, 2016. Ed was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Bessie & Nathan Fink, brother Ernest Fink and sister Marian Perling. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Claire “Kayla”; children Mitchell Fink (Margie), Natalie “Gigi” Landro (Peter Goldenthal) and Robert Fink (Jeannie ZaiKaner); grandchildren Adam Fink (Galina Guterman), Carrie Fink (Reid Johnson) and Jason Landro; great-grandchildren Joseph, Elijah and Harlan; sister-in-law Delores Fink; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Ed was a Realtor in St Paul for 45 years. He was a founding member of the St. Paul Jewish Community Center and the Beth Jacob Congregation in Mendota Heights. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and fought at the Battle of the Bulge and was an active member and volunteer of the Jewish War Veterans. Funeral service 11:30 MONDAY, April 4, 2016 at WEST SIDE HEBREW CEMETERY, 1250 Barclay Ave., St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Beth Jacob Congregation or the St. Paul Jewish Community Center, SHIVA 7:00 pm Monday and Tuesday at the Sholom Home East, 740 Kay Ave., St. Paul, MN 55102.
