Doris Levin Obituary (2008) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Levin, Doris H. Age 83 of St. Louis Park, passed away Aug. 12, 2008. Doris was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1925. She met Merv in 1946 when they were both camp counselors at Pine Mere Camp in the Pocono’s. In 1947 Doris and Merv got married, and then moved to Allentown, PA. They moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1965, where they lived until their retirement. Doris retired with Merv to Pompano Beach, FL for the past 20 years. Doris will always be remembered for her sunny disposition, her great beauty, and the pride she took in her family. Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcy Orfield (nee Levin). She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Merv; daughter, Nancy Golden (Marshall); sons, Ross Levin (Bridget), Michael Levin (Stacey); grandchildren, Nate Berkus, Jesse and Marni Golden, Laura Orfield-Skrivseth (Jayson), Vera and Mimi Levin, Geordy, Ryan, Spencer and Lukas Levin; great-grandchildren, Alfonzo and Savon Williams. Graveside service THURSDAY (TODAY), 10:00AM, FORT SNELLING NATIONAL CEMETERY, 7601 34th Ave. S., Mpls, ASSEMBLEY AREA #1. Memorials preferred to the N.C.
