age 66, of St. Paul, born in Chicago, IL, April 16, 1949 died Monday, February 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Blacker. Survived by her mother, Anabel Blacker; sister, Elysa (John Whealan) Blacker; niece, Diana Whealan; and cousins, Nancy and Seymour Taxman and Jerry Spiegel. Donna was a gifted writer and teacher and a long time academic advisor at Metropolitan State University, where she offered her wisdom and guidance to students and colleagues across the university. She was a bright spirit to all who knew her and will be remembered for her great kindness, generosity, and warmth. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Waldheim Jewish Cemetery, North Riverside, IL.
