Dolores Berdt Neiman Obituary (1923 - 2016)

Dolores Berdt Neiman passed peacefully, with dignity and surrounded by loved ones on May 29th, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Mona and David Berdt; sister, Phyllis Kenevan; husband, Leonard H. Neiman; and daughter in law, Judy Neiman. Survived by brother, Arnold Berdt; children, Bill, Tom (Margie), Scott (Mary), Amy (Shel), Randee (Marc), and Patti (Bill); and grandchildren, Becky, Maurine, Devorah, Michael, Mirra, David, Josh, Sarah, Joe, Danielle, Tanner, Nicole, and Manya; as well as great and great-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Dolores was above all, a mother filled with love and devotion for her family. She completed two bachelors degrees at the University of Minnesota – in Women’s Studies and Elected Studies. Dolores taught her children to value and respect all. She had a great curiosity and intellect – sharing her love of reading, theater, and vocabulary (a scrabble and crossword expert!) with all. She gave her children a model for her daughters to become, and a model for her sons to seek in a life partner.
