Diane Mast

Diane Mast, age 90, of St. Paul, passed away the morning of August 6, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born and raised in St. Paul, Diane was a wife, mother, fabulous cook and avid shopper. She was married to her husband, Joseph, for 59 years. They led a wonderful life together. They traveled all over the world and especially enjoyed exploring Europe numerous times. They took great pride in raising their family together. For 50 years they wintered in Key Biscayne Florida and enjoyed the company of their many friends and relatives who were able to join them there. Diane was a gourmet cook and baker. She took great joy in remembering her friends and relatives’ birthdays and making her famous cakes for them. She is preceded in death by parents, Harry and Adeline Johnson; and husband, Joseph. She is survived by sons, John and Robert (Julie) Mast; grandchildren, Lauren and Gabriel Mast; brother-in-law, Dr. Leonard Mastbaum and sister-in-law, Cookie Mastbaum; nieces and nephews, David (Amy) Mastbaum, Roberta (Shimon) Harosh, Marni (David Hutner) Mastbaum, Larry (Marni Blomquist) Mastbaum, Alan Mastbaum, Michael (Leslie) Mastbaum; also a great-niece & great-nephews. Special thanks go to all of the loving caregivers who cared for Diane over the last four years, Michelle, Sue, Linnea, Izzy, Haleigh, Samantha, and Colleen. You are all very special people. Funeral service 10:30 am WEDNESDAY, August 10th, at MOUNT ZION TEMPLE, 1300 Summit Ave., St. Paul.
