David Wise

David Wise, age 82, of Saint Paul, passed away peacefully at home on Sept 21, 2022 with his family by his side. David Wise born March 7 1940, in London, England. David was a striking and charismatic man, with a radio announcer's voice. His influential personality made him many friends and contributed to much success, first in the garment industry, followed by insurance, including salesman of the year with Mutual of New York, and finally working in property management, where he served a large group of diverse individuals with dignity and respect. David moved from England to Canada in the 1960's, making valuable business contacts through Freemasonry at the Grand Lodge in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He continued to follow the Mason's four important values of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity throughout his life.
Moving to the USA in the 1990s, he was recognized by the local lodge for distinguished service and personal contributions of time and effort well into his senior years. He captured the hearts of many with his devotion, humor, and affectionate personality, and cherished all of his friends. No celebration was complete until David called out a hearty "Hip Hip Hooray"! A devoted family man, he loved and stayed close to his brother, Martin and family, in England through all the years. He loved music and travel, and shared a wonderful loving marriage of 60 years with his beautiful wife, Angela. He raised two strong daughters that thought the world of him. He was extremely proud to watch his three grandchildren grow into their unique personalities and talents. His love and presence was incredibly strong and will never be forgotten. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Esther Wise. Survived by wife, Angela; children, Sharone MacKay (Bruce), Kimberley Tornoe (Eric); grandchildren, Austin, Madisyn and Olivia; brother, Martin Wise (Annette); and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
