Corey Lee Doneshefsky Obituary (1942 - 2018)

Corey Lee Doneshefsky Age 75, St. Paul, Passed away peacefully March 5 Corey is a graduate of Monroe high school and worked for Deluxe Check Printers. He had a passion for sports, fishing and Sheltie dogs. His favorite sports teams were the Dodgers, Lakers and Minnesota teams. Corey was a fantastic pitcher growing up and had offers to tryout for the Brooklyn Dodgers and others. He loved to relax by fishing in No. MN and Canada always looking for “the one that would get away”. He can now run and play with the 5 Sheltie dogs named Friskey that were part of the family over the last 50 years. Proceeded in death by parents, Ben and Rhoda Doneshefsky; and grandparents, Julius and Ida Sawetsky. He is survived by brother, Ivan. Graveside funeral Friday, March 9, 11:30am at Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery, 1600 Christie Place, St. Paul. Donations can be made to the Humane Society of Minnesota.
