Claire "Kayla" Fink

Claire “Kayla” Fink, age 91 of St. Paul, passed away July 15, 2016. Claire was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Edmar “Tatty”; parents Morris & Rose Kasher; brothers Elijah and Gerald Kasher.
Survived by children, Mitchell Fink (Margie), Natalie “Gigi” Landro (Peter Goldenthal) and Robert Fink (Jeannie ZaiKaner); grandchildren, Adam Fink (Galina Guterman), Carrie Fink (Reid Johnson) and Jason Landro; great-grandchildren Joseph, Elijah and Harlan; sister, Florence Rashbaum; brother, Tom (Jackie) Kasher; sisters-in-law, Marcia Kasher and Delores Fink; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Claire loved life filled with Yiddishkeit (Jewish life of traditions and values). She was an active member of Hadassah, the St. Paul Jewish Community Center and Beth Jacob Congregation. Claire enjoyed playing mahjong, bridge and was a voracious reader. She will be missed by her lifelong friends Betty, Millie and Sally. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Sholom Home East.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. SUNDAY at BETH JACOB CONGREGATION, 1179 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Beth Jacob Congregation or the St. Paul Jewish Community Center. SHIVA, 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Sholom Home East, 740 Kay Ave., St. Paul and 7:15 a.m. Monday Minyan at Beth Jacob Congregation to be followed by breakfast.
