Cindy Goldish

–

Prior Lake, Minnesota

Cindy Klebanoff was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada on July 22, 1945 and passed away on September 9, 2026. After her father, Murray, passed away when she was five, Cindy moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, with her mother, Betty, and her sister, Sandi. She graduated from St. Paul Central High School in 1963 and went on to attend the University of Minnesota for two years.

When Cindy was 15, her mother introduced her to Jeff Goldish, and the rest was history. Cindy and Jeff were married on May 8, 1966, and soon made their home in St. Cloud while Jeff attended St. Cloud State University and Cindy worked at a bank.
They later returned to the Twin Cities, welcomed their daughter, Jodi, in May 1974, and raised their family in Golden Valley, Minnesota.

Cindy loved spending time with family. She enjoyed her weekly bowling leagues and Mah Jong games, going to plays and musicals, watching scary movies, and gathering around board games and card games.
She treasured the simple traditions that made life special: red roses from Jeff on Valentine’s Day and anniversaries, shopping trips with Jodi, and holiday meals with the whole family gathered together. Cindy loved to feed everyone, and hosting family brought her great happiness.

Later in life, Cindy’s greatest joy was her four grandchildren. She attended as many dance recitals and competitions, hockey and soccer games, choir concerts, and school functions as she could.

Cindy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Jeff; her daughter, Jodi, and son-in-law, Mark; her grandchildren, Ethan, Isabel, Maci, and Megan; her sister, Sandi; and her sister-in-law, Suzy.
