Bernard Abramson

Bernard Abramson, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on October 25, 2024. Preceded in death by parents, Molly & Hessel; step-father, Ted; step-siblings, Gerald & Rita. Survived by wife of 61 years, Lynn; children, Lisa (Richard), Mike (Julie), Laura (Darren); and grandchildren, Jordan, Emily, Jason, Gabriel, Jayden, Sam and Zach; brother, Edward; brother & sister-in-law, Allen & Toba; sister-in-law, Marilyn; and many loving nieces and nephews. Buddy grew up in St. Paul’s Highland Park where he attended Central High School and continued his studies at the University of Minnesota. He was a well-established furniture dealer and founded the Furniture House of Hastings. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, as well as his circle of life-long friends. A special thank you to the entire staff at Sholom Home West for their kindness and exceptional care throughout his stay. Memorials are preferred to Sholom Home West. SHIVA will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, October 28th at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka 55305.
