Barry M. Gerr Obituary (1942 - 2017) - Minneapolis, Minnesota

Barry M. Gerr, age 75 of St. Louis Park, passed away October 18th. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max & Sarah and brother, Stuart. Survived by his wife of over 36 yrs., Carolyn; daughter, Joanie (Stephen) Thompson; son, Darrin; former daughter-in-law, Rachel Wexler; grandchildren, Griffin, Ella, Jack and Jessica; sister-in-law, Cyndi Gerr and numerous nieces and nephew. Special thanks to the caring doctors and staff at Park Nicollet. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. FRIDAY, October 20th at BETH EL SYNAGOGUE, 5225 Barry St. W., St. Louis Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Carolyn & Barry Gerr Children’s Scholarship Fund at the Sabes Jewish Community Center. SHIVA, 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the family’s residence.
