Barbara Hoberman Walstein Obituary (1933 - 2021)

Barbara Hoberman Walstein, age 87, of St. Louis Park. She was born July 29, 1933 in Minneapolis, to parents, Abe Hoberman and Ann (Blizinsky) Hoberman. Her siblings were Roz Langfus, mother of Terri, Mike, and Brad. Lenny Hoberman (Shelly), father of Lori (Sonny Katz) and Bruce Hoberman (Dana). Barb lovingly cared for her brother Harvey who had CP. Barbara passed away on May 22, 2021, Harvey’s birthday, and the birthday of niece, Terri Langfus. The true love of her life was her husband, Morris Walstein. They were happily married for 43 years until he passed in 1997. The family consists of daughter, Gayle Brooks Solinsky (Stan), mother of grandchildren, Jessica and Shira Brooks, and step-grandchildren, Sharon Neiberg and Steven Solinsky; son, Les Walstein, (Laura)(Corine), father of grandchildren, Andrew, and Ryan Walstein (Sarah); son, Howard Walstein (Deborah), father of granddaughter, Natalie Walstein and step-granddaughter, Lily. Barbara worked as a buyer for Target for 27 years. She got to meet many famous celebrities. She will truly be missed by all her friends and family. Graveside service 12:00 noon, TUESDAY, May 25th, UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY, 2605 W. 70 ½ St., Richfield. SHIVA 7:00 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday, Minnehaha Falls Pavilion, 4801 S.
