Barbara Louise Schneider

Barbara Louise Schneider, age 75, of St. Louis Park, died in Palm Springs, CA surrounded by her loving family on June 23rd, 2017 after a battle with cancer. She was born in Minneapolis, MN to her parents Jerry and Renee Cammins. Upon graduating from West High School, she showed her creative side by earning a degree in art from University of Wisconsin. Barbara married the love of her life, Phillip, in 1968 and celebrated 49 years of marriage on May 5th of this year. They lived together in St. Louis Park, MN where they raised their son, Craig, and eventually settled in Palm Springs. Barby, as she was called by her friends, was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was an avid lover of word games, poker slots, golf, fashion, food, and canasta. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. Barby leaves behind her beloved husband, Phil; sons, Craig and Michael; daughter-in-law, Marco; granddaughters, Allyn and Emmy; uncle, Marshall Silberman; and granddog, Gimlet. Her son, Barry and sister, Wendy preceded her in death. Funeral service FRIDAY, JUNE 30, 2017, 11:00 AM, TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2323 Fremont Ave. S., Minneapolis.
