Audrey E. Hillman
Age 91, of St. Louis Park, MN passed away on June 18, 2017. Survived by sons Gerald (Gali), Merle (Anna), Daniel, Dale (Miriam), and Ron (Laura); grandchildren Aviel (Lizie), Elad, Yair (Shira), Yoni (Bari), Talia (Yoni Steinberg), Shai, Amanda, Sophie (RJ Steiner), Ari, Ben, Noah and Gabriella; great-grand-daughters Meira, Nava, Emunah and Batya.
Proceeded in death by parents Tom and Dorothy Kaplan, husband of 66 years Herbert Hillman, sister Rosella Lent and daughter-in-law Debra Hillman. Audrey trained as a nurse during WWII in the Nursing Cadet Corp and worked at Hennepin General, Methodist and Golden Valley Hospitals. She enjoyed working as a model at clothing shows. She was active in Hadassah and the Kenesseth Israel sisterhood. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and being together with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many and she will be greatly missed.
Funeral service SUNDAY, June 18, 2017 at 6:00pm at MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY CHAPEL, 7032 Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Shiva services at Audrey’s home at 6:45am (Mon. – Fri.) and 8:45pm (Mon. – Thurs.). Special thanks to Homewatch Caregivers and Sholom Home West for their loving care.
