Alexandra Dayen

Alexandra Dayen age 84, of Los Angeles, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away April 20, 2019. Preceded in death by her husband, Leonid; her parents, Dr. Yakov and Ida Gladstein; and her sister, Elena Semashko. Survived by her loving son, Michael (Jill Brown); and grandson, Eli Dayen. Alexandra was a graduate of the prestigious Plekhanov University of Economics in Moscow, and, after arrival in the United States in 1978, worked for many years at the Minneapolis- based architectural firm then known as Ellerbe Inc. She was an active supporter of animal rescue organizations. Graveside service 11:00 am, WEDNESDAY, April 24th, ADATH YESHURUN CEMETERY, 5605 France Ave. S., Edina.
