Alan Shapiro, age 88, of Minneapolis, passed away April 10, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, Idell and Louis. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marilyn; sons, L. Michael, Jeffrey (Barbara), James (Wendy); grandchildren, Matthew (Melissa), Sam and Sydney; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Evan; brother, Merton (Leslee); niece, Gena; and nephew, Jed.
