Abel A. Sadowsky Obituary (1919 - 2012)

Abel A. Sadowsky, lifelong resident of St. Paul, born March 11, 1919, passed away peacefully at home September 2, 2012 in his 94th year. Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Pauline; parents, Frances & Julius Sadowsky; and brothers, Sherman, William and Phillip. Survived by brother, David, Bradenton, FL; children, Gail & Thomas Tilsner, Tucson, AZ, Gary & Stacey Sadowsky, Essex Junction, VT, Alan & Susan Sadowsky and Lori & Steven Stein, all of Minnetonka; grandchildren, Jodi (Gregg) Woodnick, Jeremy (Rachael) Tilsner, Jamison Tilsner, Lauren and Rachel Sadowsky, Samuel, Alexander and Nathaniel Stein, Derek (Sarah) Ennis, and Jason Ennis; great-grandchildren, Ean and Adrian Woodnick, and Eleanor Tilsner. Abel was a veteran of World War II and took pride in his career as a printer at McGill-Warner and The Pioneer Press. His wisdom, warmth, and humor will be dearly missed.
