Noi Maudi Obituary (2023)

Noi Maudi, age 29 yrs, formerly of St Paul, Minnesota and most recently living in Moshav Yated where he was born and raised. Noi and his brother-in-law Moti Elkabetz were murdered in Israel on October 7, 2023. Another brother-in-law was injured and his nephew, Matan Rosenberg, is still missing. Noi was a former teacher at Talmud Torah of St. Paul and beloved by many in the community. He is survived in Minnesota by Sophia Ariola, Jacob (Lydia) Ciuraru, Gabe (Gabby) Ciuraru, Maureen (Greg) Fishbach, Izzy Ciuraru, Anthony Ariola, Emily (Dan) Waskow, Katie (Jon) Wasrud, Lisa (Rich) Engelstad; and in Israel by his parents, Tamar and Shimon Maudi, Sapir (Tomer) Kitayevich, Shani (Yitzhak) Rosenberg, Sivan Elkabetz and many nieces, nephews and friends in both of the places he called home.
