Harvey "Bumpa" Blumenberg Obituary (1923 - 2014)

Harvey “Bumpa” Blumenberg, age 90 of St. Louis Park, died suddenly April 18,2014. Harvey had a real zest for life and was the heart and soul of his family. His humor and wonderful personality always made everyone around him happier. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years Faye Chazin Blumenberg and parents Gus & Gertie Bloomberg. Survived by his children Randi, Carole (Ignacio) and Lon (Bette); grandchildren Alyssa, Joel, Andrew, Jaclyn and Carmen; and special companion Ronna Rossman. Funeral service 3:00 p.m. SUNDAY at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. So., Mpls. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the donor’s favorite charity. SHIVA 7:00 p.m. Monday at Temple Israel.
